Toronto's St. Lawrence Market and its partner Wireless Toronto are offering free internet access to the market's customers.
This initiative is designed to re-imagine how technology, community groups, the arts sector and businesses can come together to revitalize public spaces.
Wireless Toronto is a volunteer-based, not-for-profit community group committed to encouraging the growth of no-cost WiFi to the city's public spaces. Working with local civic organizations, artists, and technologists, Wireless Toronto explores how wireless technologies can be used to build community in innovative and interesting ways.
